Disabled parking

If you’re a disabled driver or passenger you might be eligible for a Blue Badge permit or disabled person’s parking bay.

Blue Badge (disabled person's permit)

Blue Badge holders can drive, or be driven, to areas within towns and cities where parking is restricted. This means they can park closer to where they need to go.

Disabled parking bays

If you are a Blue Badge holder and have problems parking close enough to your home, you can apply for a disabled person's parking bay.

To apply for a disabled parking bay contact your local or district council.

Any Blue Badge holder can use the bay, not just the person whose house it is outside.
