About applying online
When applying for an Older Person’s Bus Pass you won’t need to
provide any proof of eligibility. If you're applying for a Disabled
Person’s Bus Pass you will need to upload scanned (jpeg) copies of
your evidence.

You can take a photo with a webcam or upload a recent digital
photo you have stored on your computer.
If you have started an online application, and need
to change a photo, print a rejected application or get
password help log in to the online
application system.
You can't apply online if you're applying for a pass because you
would be refused a driving licence under section 92 of the Road
Traffic Act 1988.
About applying in libraries
Hub libraries have specially trained staff who
can put your application directly onto the system. You need to
bring your eligibility evidence with
you.
Other libraries and Gateways can you give you a
form and forward completed ones to us with your eligibility
evidence. They can't put them on the system.
About applying by phone
The advisor starts your application by taking your
details but you'll need to send your eligibility evidence by post to complete the
process.
How long until I get my pass?
It takes up to 15 working days as long as we've
received all photographs and evidence. If we need more
information such as a letter from your doctor it may take
longer.
