Bus passes for the elderly and disabled

Eligible older and disabled people can apply for a bus pass to get free off-peak travel on local bus services across England.

Who is eligible for a bus pass

There are 3 types of bus pass:

  • Older Person’s Bus Pass
  • Disabled Bus Pass
  • Disabled+Companion Bus Pass

Check if you are eligible to receive free off peak bus travel.

Using your pass

The bus pass will give you free off peak travel on local bus services between:

  • 9.30am and 11.00pm Monday to Friday
  • all day at weekends and bank holidays

Lost, stolen or faulty passes

If your pass if lost, stolen or faulty you need to let us know straight away so we can replace it.
