Bus fares

Bus fares on commercial services are determined by each operator and Kent County Council set their fares in line with these. Most services offer standard single and return fares, however you may find that a special saver or season ticket offers better value for money.

To confirm the exact cost of a journey, please contact the relevant service operator.

If you are travelling by both rail and bus, you may find that a PlusBus ticket can save you time and money. For further information, view our PlusBus section.

Concessionary fares

From 1 April 2011 passes will be valid from 9.30am until 11pm on weekdays and at any time on weekends and bank holidays.

For further information on eligibility and how to apply, please see our concessionary travel section.
