Kent Karrier
The Kent Karrier is a fully accessible dial-a-ride service which
takes its members directly from their door to the nearest town
centre.
There is a £5 annual administration fee (except for the
Canterbury scheme) and a small fare payable for each journey.
You are eligible to join the Kent Karrier scheme if:
- you have a medical condition that makes travelling on
conventional public transport difficult
- you live in a rural area more than 500 metres from a
conventional bus route or railway station.
You should book your journey at least a day in advance. A
companion, for example, your carer, can travel with you and does
not need to be a member; they just pay the journey fare.
For more information about the Kent Karrier service in your
area, please look at your local scheme leaflet.
For membership enquiries please call Kent County
Council on 01622 605349 or click here for an
application form (PDF, 59K).
