Publications

The Kent Waste Local Plan was adopted in March 1998 and covers the period to 2011. It contains policies for waste management developments and identifies potential sites for different waste management uses.

Please note that not all of the policies contained in the Waste Local Plan are still in force. On September 21 2007, the Secretary of State issued Directions saving certain policies of the existing Minerals and Waste local plans beyond the initial three year transitional period, i.e. beyond 27th September 2007. See the related publications below for further information.
