The Minerals and Waste Development Scheme (MWDS) sets out the programme for the preparation of the minerals and waste development documents over the next few years. It provides the starting point for the community and stakeholders to find out what our current planning policies are and the key stages for involvement.
The Kent MWDS was formally submitted to the Government Office for the South East in March 2005 and was approved in April 2005. It was reviewed and submitted to the Government Office for the South East (GOSE) in April 2006.
