This plan is produced by officers to inform and assist Kent County Council (KCC) in its decision making for planning secondary school places over the next ten years. The projections in this plan are based on best estimates, informed by district plans, the Kent Structure Plan and the local Primary Care Trusts' (PCT) live births data. This report details available secondary places for Years Seven -11 by individual school, and forecast need for each district in turn. Where possible, plans and ideas for the reduction or increase in places to match that forecast need are outlined. Some projects will be in progress, some will be at the feasibility stage and some will represent possibilities for future discussion.
