A separate Town Centre Health Indicator report is produced each year for 17 town centres in Kent. The latest reports have been produced in February 2008 and contain 2007 data where available, and information from the last time the town centre was surveyed (varies between 2001-2006). The reports will be updated in January 2009.

Ten key indicators are used to assess the health of town centres across Kent, which include the evening economy floorspace, retail floorspace, vacant retail property, footfall, retail yields, retail rents, retail sector employment, crime, transport and air quality. Information is presented on all of these in each of the reports.
