Services we provide

Apply for a blue badge online

10 August 2011

You can access many of our services and apply for things such as permits and jobs online.

Apply for it

If you are disabled or have mobility problems find out if you qualify for a Blue Badge, which will allow you to park closer to shops and amenities, and apply for one online.

You can also apply for a Carers' Emergency Card.

One of the main concerns that carers have is what will happen to the person they look after if they are taken ill or involved in an accident. The Carers' Emergency Card provides the peace of mind by providing access assistance in emergencies.

Assess your care and support needs online

If you need help or support in your daily activities or care for somebody who does, you can assess your own support needs online to find out what help you are entitled to receive.

Become an adult placement carer

We can help place vulnerable adults with carers in local communities, giving them the opportunity to be part of a family or household and other social networks. It is similar to fostering, but is for adults rather than children.

Advertise social care job vacancies

If you are an employer of social care workers in Kent or looking to employ a personal assistant using your personal budget, you can register to advertise your jobs for free on our website.

Order adult social services leaflets and brochures

We have produced a number of leaflets and brochures about adult social services which are available to download and order online.
