Become part of Cyclopark’s future
17 January 2012
Do you have an interest in sport, your local environment or
helping your community? Do you want to be part of the biggest cycle
park in Kent and take an active part in community sports events? If
so, then Cyclopark wants you!
Cyclopark is a new multi-sport centre opening in May 2012 near
Gravesend and we are offering you a chance to get involved with
shaping and supporting it for the future. We are launching our
Cyclofriends group, which is your opportunity to get involved.
There will be plenty of opportunities to help with park events, get
involved with different activities, as well as developing new ideas
for future events at the park.
Kent County Council Cabinet Member for Environment, Highways and
Waste, Bryan Sweetland, said: “This is a
fantastic centre that will offer a wide range of activities. It is
right on Gravesend’s doorstep and it will bring great benefit to
the area. This is a chance for local people to get involved in
something that can make a big difference to the town.”
To find out more about the Cyclofriends group and how you can
help, please come to our first meeting on Saturday 18 February 2012
at 11am at:
Cyclopark Project Office
The Old Rectory
Springhead Road
Northfleet,
Kent DA11 8HN
The meeting will be followed by an optional tour of Cyclopark
itself.
