Kent Youth Arts Festival

28 November 2011

Young people will be taking over Turner Contemporary as the Kent Youth Arts Festival takes place on 3 and 4 December.

Free theatre performances, music and dance as well as textiles, one-to-one MCing and video-making workshops will be happening throughout the gallery as well as outside on the terrace.

Youth groups from across Kent including Margate Youth Theatre, Stagecoach, Inclusive Youth Theatre who use sign language, LoopEd Youth Dance Company and Chilham Theatre Arts Youth Theatre will be taking part.

The festival is an opportunity for everyone to come along for free and join in the drop-in activities or watch the performances, while enjoying the stunning Turner Contemporary gallery, currently hosting the 'Anything in the World But Youth' exhibition.
