Adult Social Services case studies

We have developed a computer software platform that enables
assessments for social care to be carried out online via the KCC
website.
Qualifications and skills are very important for effective care
and support of vulnerable residents. The relationships that staff
have with clients and their carers can be equally as important.
Active Lives is KCC's 10 year vision for Adult Social Care in
Kent. Kent Social Services was one of the first to set out a vision
in this way.
KCC has changed the way it pays suppliers of care management
services, using purchase card technology, through the Royal Bank of
Scotland's (RBS) transactional data matching system (TDM).
