Location: The Crown Restaurant, Sessions House,
County Road, Maidstone, ME14 1XQ
Young people who have taken part in the 'Rhythmix' project will
celebrate their musicality with an album launch on I - Tunes and
the chance to jam with the professional musicians who mentored
them.
The project, run in partnership with Kent County Council's
Youth Offending Service gave those attending the Assisted
Curriculum Programme or Youth Inclusion Programme the opportunity
to work with professional musicians at 10 locations in Kent and
compose their own songs.
The highlights of all the work produced have been made into two
albums which will be available for sale on I-Tunes, with the
profits going to the charity 'Children with Leukaemia.'

Hill said: "All of the young people who took part in this
project have faced challenges when it comes to their education and
personal lives. Rhythmix has given them the opportunity to express
their feelings, share their experiences and gain something very
positive from working with professional musicians. This launch
event should be seen as a celebration of their hard work, and
should demonstrate to others how much can be achieved.
Congratulations to the young people and this excellent
initiative."
