Margate library
Margate Library is now at the heart of the newly refurbished
Thanet Gateway Plus building. The people of Thanet can access
library, District Council & Gateway services 6 days a week.
On the ground floor you
can choose from an updated range of fiction and non-fiction books,
dvd's, cd's and spoken word. A bright and inviting children's
area is where Baby Bounce and Rhyme times are held.

On the first floor there is a reference area with
seating for study and further collections of non-fiction
books.
A teen area is provided with comfortable seating and facilities to
listen to music, and there is a computer suite.
If you haven't used a computer before why not ask our 'Computer
Buddy' for help? We have someone available most days.
To book a session, please ask at the library.
The local studies collection is also situated on the first
floor, and offers resources that can help you trace the history of
your family, town, village or house.
