Reference and information
Our libraries offer access to a wealth of information to
help you with your research for work, study, leisure and family
life. You can use the books, newspapers or magazines yourself, log
on to the available computers, or ask our staff for help.
Local and family history resources
can be found in our larger libraries as well as some of the smaller
ones while the principal collections of business and
legislative
materials are held at the
County Central Library.
Reference and information collections vary in size across Kent.
If your library cannot answer your query they will refer you to
someone who can.
Alternatively the information can come to you!
Log on at home or work, anywhere in the world, with your Kent
library ticket and use a wide range of quality online resources for free.
Ask a Kent Librarian is the service to call to get your questions answered remotely. Just choose
