Music collection
Our libraries offer a
wealth of resources for music lovers across the county.

Music CDs can be found
in all our larger libraries as well as some of the smaller ones.
These cover the whole range of musical genres. There are also music
DVDs available across the county.
You can find out what
is available by searching our online catalogue.
The county
collection of single scores and music sets has now moved
to our site in
Gibson Drive, Kings Hill near West Malling. See a
detailed map of the site (PDF,
700k).
Access is as follows:
- Without appointment - Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm
- With appointment - Monday to Friday, 8 to 10am and 4 to
6pm.
There you can
browse a nationally recognised collection of performance sets
-
orchestral sets (XLS, 167k) and multiple copies of
vocal scores (XLS, 277k) - for loan to registered music
societies. You can also order sets online by completing
our
electronic request form.

In addition you can enjoy the benefits of some of our music
resources from any internet-enabled computer. Just log on to the
online resources pages using your Kent library card and
enjoy access to Naxos and Grove Music online for
free.
