Stop at the shop

If you live in Frittenden or Sissinghurst you can now take advantage of a new mobile ‘shop stop’ service.

As well as using our regular mobile library service, you can pick up and drop off your mobile library books from a local shop – which means that you no longer need worry about missing the mobile.

Reserve your books at any library, mobile library or online at our website, and your items will be dropped off at the shop for you to pick up. Just remember to bring your reservation letter and the last three digits of your library card to the shop.

Returning items is even easier -  just hand them in to the shop and they will pass them on to the mobile when it next calls.

The ‘shop stop’ is a trial, so please let us know what you think, either by filling in a comment card on your mobile or by emailing us at libraries@kent.gov.uk

During the trial period we will be delivering books to shops nearest to our existing stops:
