Check our online business resources, most of the information is now available online, either in particular libraries or remotely with your Kent library ticket. The area covered are:

 

Tailored information service

As well as answering your queries about the topics below, the Ask a Kent Librarian team can:

  • produce mailing lists tailored to your needs using a variety of criteria, e.g. postcode, town or region, turnover, number of employees for the UK registered companies. View our service terms and conditions
  • supply Companies House documents.

 

In view of the current economic climate most services are offered free-of-charge to Kent small and medium-sized businesses. If your business is based outside of the Kent County Council area please contact us for a quote.

  • British Standards are available online in all our libraries.
  • Health and Safety Executive publications, building regulations and other legislation can be accessed via our 'Consumer and legal' page.

 

Management and 'know how'

There are books for loan on management theory and procedure, as well as practical how-to guides in the county stock. We also provide access to COBRA (The Complete Business Reference Adviser) a one-stop-shop online database ideal for small businesses and students.
