Walk to Win!

Terms and conditions of the Walk to Win Prize Draw

Enter now:

1.   This prize draw is provided by Kent County Council, Countryside Access Service County Hall, Maidstone, Kent, ME14 1XX.

2.   One weekly prize draw will take place each week place for nine weeks.

3.   The closing date for entry into the last weekly prize draw and the grand prize draw is Sunday 5 June 2011.The grand prize draw will take place on Monday 6 June 2011 and a winner notified.

4.   The Entrants must live in the Dover or Folkestone area to be eligible to win the prizes. (Home postcodes which start with CT15, CT16, CT17, CT18, CT19, CT20, CT3    

5.   Entrants into the weekly prize draw will automatically be entered into the subsequent weekly prize draws and the grand prize draw.

6.   The weekly prize will consist of a maximum value of £50 and will either consist of outdoor gear or an attraction pass. There shall be no cash offered as alternative.

7.   The grand prize draw will consist of a maximum value of £500 which will be accommodation and attraction passes for a family of up to five. The accommodation and passes will be for venues in Kent and can be used at an agreed time that is suitable for the prize donators and the winners.

8.   Over 18’s only may enter the prize draws.

9.   By entering the prize draw, participants are joining Kent County Council’s Explore Kent mailing list and will be contacted in the future with information about walking, riding or cycling in Kent.

10.   All personal data will be held in accordance with the Data Protection Act and will not be passed onto any third parties.

11.   Applicable for UK citizen and legal resident to UK only.

12.   A maximum of one entry per person.

13.   Competitions are not open for employees (and their families), affiliates, advertisers and promotion agents of Kent County Council’s Countryside Access Service.

14.   Winners of each prize draw will be randomly chosen by the Kent County Council judge and the winner will be notified by email or telephone.

15.   The winner has up to seven days to claim the prize after notification, failure to claim within time limit will lead Kent County Council to select another winner.

16.   The prize draw winner automatically grants Kent County Council permission to use their photograph and family name in any public announcements. This includes publication on the Explore Kent and kmfm websites, in press releases and promotional emails.  

17.   Kent County Council reserves the right to disqualify a winner that does not comply with prize draw terms and conditions.

18.   Kent County Council reserves the right to withdraw, suspend or cancel the prize draw competition at any time without a notice.

19.   Kent County Council shall not bare any liability for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage incurred by any entrant or winner in connection with any prize draw or any entry.

20.   By entering this prize draw, participants agree to accept and be bound to all the terms and conditions and any decision made by Kent County Council.
