Walking around the quiet area of North Foreland makes a change for even most local people from Thanet, offering a slice of rural landscapes and life which can be easily accessed only a few miles from Broadstairs.

Start at the lighthouse and follow the footpath which runs around the garden, from here you are greeted with a huge expanse of open farmland, with oast houses in the distance, along with a stable with horses and other livestock. You can also enjoy views of the coast, and walk in a loop to end back at Joss Bay to explore the beach.
