Walking along Kent's 4,200 miles (6,759 km) of paths is the perfect way to discover the many diverse landscapes to be enjoyed in the county - their history, their wildlife and their local communities.

Long distance walks

Seasoned walkers will delight in taking on the challenges of completing Kent's longer walking routes such as The Greensand Way, The Saxon Shore Way and The North Downs Way.

For those with only a few hours to spare, Explore Kent has selected some of the best circular walks along the long distance routes to enjoy with family and friends. These walks showcase the most spectacular landscapes and views of the long distance trails.

Easy access walks

Explore Kent also has a growing number of easy access walks with paths suitable for pushchairs, wheelchairs and motor scooters.

Open Access land

There are also areas of open access land in Kent that are available for you to roam across without having to stick to paths.
