Download walks to your media player

The new media player walking guides from Explore Kent offer an exciting new way to explore the county's countryside.

The walks can be uploaded to a range of handheld media players and mobile phones providing an easy to follow walking guide.

What's in the guides?

The guides comprise of a number of images (jpeg format) that walkers can scroll through on their media player.

Each guide includes an introduction to the walk and a detailed guide comprising:

• route description
• maps
• image-guides.

Adding the guides to your media player

These guides comprise images at a size of 320 x 240 pixels and are ideal for smaller screen players.

Each guide can be easily added to your portable media player.

1. The guide is saved in a 'zip file' and you may need a
   zip file manager to open these files.
2. Extract all of the images in the guide and save them to your computer.
3. Ensure the files are sorted by name in ascending order before you load them onto your media player.
4. Upload the files to your media player as you would other images.
