6 miles (9.5 km) with some steep slopes.

This walk is relatively flat with plenty of open fields to venture through and a few perfect places to discover for a picnic.

This walk has been created by the North Downs Way National Trail and uses a section of the North Downs Way.

Passing through the distinctive village of Adisham, this North Downs Way circular is sure to delight. Set on the edge of the old coal mining area of East Kent, walkers will enjoy the peaceful woodlands and the views over Barham downs.

 

How to get there

Postcode starting point: CT3 3JE

Car: Adisham is just off the A2 between Canterbury and Dover.

Parking: There is limited free parking in the village near the church.

Train: Nearest Station Adisham at start of trail. National Rail Enquiries 08457 484950.

Bus: 51 to Wingham and Plucks Gutter 2 journeys Mon-Fri Traveline 0871 200 2233
