Shorne Woods Heritage Trail - Audio Stop Points

Sculpture in Shorne WoodsOn this webpage you will find downloadable audio files that explain more about the archaeology and history of Shorne Woods Country Park. Each file is in .mp3 format and can be played on your ipod or equivalent mp3 player. This is not an audiotrail, so you will need to combine your walk with the Shorne Woods visitor map (PDF, 943k).

On the Shorne Woods visitor map you will see seven heritage points, marked by shields with numbers in them. The first six of these are also audio stop points. Follow the Heritage Trail from the visitor centre and stop at each heritage point (marked by an interpretation board with further information and images), to hear more about the archaeology and history of the park.
