Kent Country Parks Education

Kent Country Parks offer outdoor learning for all ages and abilities. There are programmes for Early Years, Key Stages 1, 2, 3 and 4 and Post 16, all of which can enhance the curriculum.

We have great outdoor learning facilities and fully qualified education rangers to help you develop your programmes of study to the full.

All of our courses are run by highly-trained Education Rangers. Each of our outdoor learning facilities can provide a comprehensive schools educational service, geared up to the national curriculum.

Our outdoor learning programme (PDF 1303k), lists all the classes and opportunities we offer throughout our sites.  

Non-school groups are also welcome, please contact the parks to discuss your requirements.

Outdoor learning facilities

Brockhill Country Park, near Hythe

A popular Site of Nature Conservation Interest, Brockhill Country Park has lots to offer teachers and students including an outdoor classroom, a variety of wildlife, a mixture of habitats, woodland and lake.

Lullingstone Country Park

Located near Eynsford, Lullingstone has woodland, chalk grassland and its very special feature is the River Darent.

Shorne Woods Country Park

Lying just off the A2 near Cobham, Shorne Woods is over 280 acres of woodland, grassland and freshwater.

Trosley Country Park, near Meopham.

The park covers 170 acres of woodland and open chalk grassland. There is a fully equipped classroom that provides shelter from wet weather, allowing visits to take place all year round and there is space for picnic lunches.
