Stodmarsh National Nature Reserve

There are several bird hides located on the reserve, and these are great places to spot the abundance of bird life that enjoys the habitat.

Numerous footpaths run through Stodmarsh, including two easy access nature trails. The Stour Valley Walk and the Saxon Shore Way long distance walking routes also connect with the reserve.

Natural England in partnership with the Heritage Lottery Fund has produced lots of exciting and creative resources for the reserve. As well as onsite interpretation and visitor improvements there are other documents for you to download including self guided winter and summer walks and an audio trail.
