Cultural Summit I

On 17 February 2009, we held the first Cultural Summit in Kent. The Summit is the first of 3 conferences planned to help us develop the county's Cultural Strategy. The aims of the Summit were to:

• arrive at a common understanding of culture and cultural planning;
• agree on the process of working together; and
• achieve a high-level consensus.

Participants at the event shared their views on the strengths and needs of culture in the county.
