Scopos [the watcher]

Guests at private viewScopos is the third in a series of exhibitions hosted by the Sevenoaks Kaleidoscope Gallery in 2010 that reflect on the venue’s name – Kalos [beauty], Eidos [form] and Scopos (the watcher). Artists from across Kent were invited to submit works that investigate aspects of observation in contemporary art and explore the relationship between artist, artwork and audience.

  • The gallery sits alongside the library and museum within the Sevenoaks Kaleidoscope building. The Sevenoaks Kaleidoscope Gallery is run by Kent County Council to show new work from established and emerging Kent artists.
