Exhibition and gallery space in Kent libraries
Kent Libraries are
enthusiastic and committed promoters and developers of the arts for
people of all ages:
- we show a wide range of art and craft exhibitions in our
galleries and libraries;
- music events - take place in libraries and in partnership with
other venues;
- we host poetry readings, talks by authors, lectures and other
literary activities;
- dancers, mime-artists, jugglers, weavers, storytellers and a
whole host of other performers and practitioners have appeared in
local libraries;
- community arts projects enable local people to work with our
arts officers and professional artists, providing creative
opportunities and producing work that reflects the spirit of the
community.
