Kent Sports Development Unit works in partnership with an enormous network of organisations and individuals comprising 600 schools, 15,000 voluntary sports clubs, governing bodies of sport, sports associations, government agencies, local authorities, coaches and performers.

Youth sports

If you are aged 11 to 25, you might also find the Kent youth and community website useful. It has a information on a wide range of sports and lets you search for sporting organisations and teams in your area.

Tour de France

Kent and London hosted the first stage of the Tour de France in July 2007. This major sporting event brought huge benefits for Kent, attracting visitors to the county, promoting Kent worldwide and giving businesses a chance to cash in on an international extravaganza.
