Dover Discovery Centre

The building is a unique combination of old and new. It was designed to incorporate the archaeological remains of a Classis Britannicus Fort (Roman Navy) and St Martin Le Grand, the Norman Church, built shortly after the Norman Conquest, which dominated Dover's skyline for nearly 500 years.

The Discovery Centre is an exciting and fun place to visit - a smart, modern building bursting with brand new technology.

Facilities include a café, Discovery Nursery, library (with specially designed children's and youth areas), Blackfish Academy, rooms for hire, adult education classes - all contributing to make the Discovery Centre a family friendly place for recreation, learning and culture.
