Homework

Staff helping a child with homework We have books on every subject to help you with your homework. Many libraries have special homework collections, covering all the topics you study at school.

We have quiet areas for study and you can book a computer online (this link opens in a new window) or by visiting your library to present your work neatly.

Your library card also allows you to use a range of online resources to consult in the library or at home (if you have Internet access) for free!

Study support

There is a growing number of homework clubs operating in our libraries (term time only).
Just drop in, there is no need to join. All young people 8 years and over are welcome.

Homework helpers will spend time helping you to complete your homework or project. They don't do the work for you, but they will help you find information in books and on the Internet to get it done.

Look out for more clubs starting in a library near you!
