Windmills

Kent's windmills are not only a striking visual feature of the landscape but also provide an insight into the agricultural history of the area.

Kent County Council is responsible for eight windmills and is actively involved in their preservation and the promotion of their use for education and tourism.

A Windmills Education Pack is available to teachers and children visiting the eight windmills owned by Kent County Council.
