Freedown rides

Savour the excellent views of the undulating chalk downland and the impressive coastline along these routes in the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (link opens in a new window).

The journey takes you through beautiful farmland and over hills near the villages of St Margaret's-at-Cliffe and Kingsdown. There are many chalkland flowers to be seen along the bridleways, while a variety of butterflies are found in the open grassland areas during the summer months.
