Christmas shouldn't cost the Earth

Christmas can often become a time of excess: money, food, presents, waste and the energy we use.

This year why not enjoy a Green Christmas that will help you save money as well as the planet.

Come along to our Green Christmas Fayre

Green Christmas guide

On Thursday 4th December 2008 from 10.30am at Sessions House, Maidstone. (Opposite Maidstone East train station.)

You can enjoy a mince pie, get some tips on how to enjoy a Green Christmas and do some Christmas shopping:

  • Local and seasonal foods
  • Fairtrade gifts
  • Charity gifts
  • Eco gifts.

There are also great ideas for ways to relax, refresh and Explore Kent.

You may not be able to guarantee the snow this festive season but you can make sure you have a fantastic Green Christmas.

Our Green Christmas guide gives tips on how to buy gifts that give more, how to reduce, reuse and recycle, and how to take time out and make the most of the beautiful environment that Kent has to offer.
