A number of fantastic walks located throughout the county can easily be reached on public transport.


To plan your perfect 'car free' great day out just take a look at the walks listed below.


All of the routes start close to a train station (under a mile away), so there are plenty of opportunities to ride the trains and make some tracks.

There are a wide range of free guides for walks that start near train stations in Kent.

Several of these walks are listed below - each with a guide offering a map and route description.

You may also like to try some of the North Downs Way National Trail Lost Landscape Heritage Trail routes, which also begin near to train stations. These guides provide lots of information about the history and landscape of the areas featured.
