Cycle the Heron Trail
The Heron Trail - from Higham to Upnor on the Hoo Peninsular

An 18 mile (29km) circular route using quiet lanes on Regional Route 18.


Cycling along the Coast to Cathedral route
Coast to Cathedral - from Dover to Canterbury

A 50 mile (80km) circular route using Regional Routes 16 and 17. Shorter linear rides from Canterbury and Dover to Folkestone are also an option.

A 7.5 mile (12km) route using National Route 1. The route is mainly traffic free.


Tonbridge Castle to Penshurst Place route

A 5 mile (8km) family cycling route using Regional Route 12. The route is almost entirely traffic free and offers detours to interesting historic sites and parks.

The Viking Coastal Trail - from Pegwell Bay to Reculver

A 29 mile (46km) route on the Isle of Thanet peninsular, using Regional Route 15. The route can be broken into shorter coastal and inland sections.

A 54 mile (87km) route using National Routes 1 and 2. Almost half of the route is traffic free.

A 42 mile (67km) route using National Route 18. A largely 'on road' ride. More challenging mountain bike routes are nearby at Bewl Water and Bedgebury Forest.
