Exhibitions and galleries

We are enthusiastic and committed promoters and developers of the arts for people of all ages:

• we show a wide range of art and craft exhibitions in our galleries and libraries.
• concerts - jazz; folk; classical; world music - take place in libraries and in partnership with other venues.
• we host poetry readings; talks by authors; lectures and other literary events.
• dancers; mime-artists; jugglers; weavers; storytellers and a whole host of other performers and practitioners have appeared in local libraries.
• community arts projects enable local people to work with our arts officers and professional artists, providing creative opportunities and producing work that reflects the spirit of the community.
