Capstone Farm Country Park

Capstone Farm Country Park has a variety of habitats including ancient woodlands, old orchards, a freshwater lake, meadows and hedgerows. The park has Green Flag status, the landscape changes through the seasons and there is always something new to see. The park has a well equipped visitor centre with disabled access, family friendly facilities, information leaflets, and natural history displays. The lakeside café provides a scenic spot for refreshments. There are two children’s play areas and an area for picnics. Energetic visitors can make the most of the trim trail, the waymarked walks and running trails, the cycle routes and mountain bike track. Horseriders will enjoy the network of bridleways which also include jumps. For those visitors seeking a less active experience, the fishing lake has an easier walking route along level pathways.
