About the department
We are a small and friendly team dedicated to promoting the
countryside and protecting and enhancing the rural and urban
environment.
We deliver education in schools, give landowner advice, carry
out practical conservation tasks and seek funding for community
groups, schools, individuals to design and implement wildlife
projects inclusive of farm Environmental Stewardship.
About the placement
Placement will work within the team
undertaking general office work.
Day to day tasks will be:
- Understanding health and safety, 1st aid
and general office admin.
- Maintenance of site & vehicles.
- Attending practical conservation tasks.
- Writing articles for
website/newsletters.
- Accompanying staff on site visits.
- Assisting on current
projects/researching.
Further information
Sturdy footwear required is required and you will need to bring
your own lunch.
