Relocation
We offer various packages, up to a maximum of £8,000, to assist
employees with relocating to live nearer to their place of work,

As part of our ongoing commitment to flexible working, we
recognise that employees may want a break away from work at some

Support Line counselling service
Support Line is a service that offers staff up to a maximum of 7
sessions of counselling a year. The service is paid for by
Kent County Council as part of our commitment to staff
care and enables employees to meet challenges, both personally and
professionally.
Pension
We offer immediate membership to Kent County Council's final
salary pension scheme. Contributions range from 5.5% to 7.5%
of pensionable pay based on earnings. If you are transferring
from another local government employer your service will be
preserved.
Healthcare
We have arrangements with the Hospital Savings Association
(HSA) and Benenden Healthcare to give employees the
opportunity to take out their own healthcare packages.
We also have a fully qualified occupational health team to offer
professional support and guidance.
Travel costs
We provide reimbursement for business travel costs, and also
