Types of work

We believe in developing potential and offer a variety of opportunities to do so. These include:

Work experience placements

For either 14 to 19 year-olds at school or college interested in flexible work experience for one or two weeks; year-in-industry students; short term projects for students in years 12 and 13.

Apprenticeships

We have several types of apprenticeships available if you are aged 16 years or older which allow you to gain experience and a qualification.

Gap year placements

Year-long paid placements for gap year students and undergraduates on sandwich courses.

Kent Vocational Training Placements

A choice of work placements in different areas of social care for those aged 14 to 19 years studying health and social care at school or college.

The Kent Graduate Programme

Providing exceptional opportunities for graduates wishing to attain a management position in the public sector.

Graduate Trainee Accountants Scheme

We take on ambitious and motivated graduates to train as finance professionals, studying for either the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) or the Chartered Institute of Accountants England and Wales (ICAEW) professional qualifications.
