If you want the chance to work for Kent County Council
after leaving school while gaining a qualification and earning
money, why not consider a Kent Success Apprenticeship?
We have vacancies across Kent in a wide range of careers and
departments and you can start any time of the year.
What's in it for you?
You'll receive a salary of £80 per week and will be training
while doing your job. There will also be some 'off-the-job'
training at a centre near you.
Throughout the programme, you will have the full support of your
tutor, KEY Training Services and a workplace mentor.
Apprenticeship subjects
We have apprenticeships in:
- business and administration
- hospitality and catering
- childcare
- health and social care
- customer service
- warehousing
- retail
Qualifying for a Kent Success apprenticeship
Apprenticeships are available to young people aged 16 to 24 with
GCSE grades A to C in English and Maths. They take between nine to
15 months to complete, during which time you can apply for
permanent jobs within the council.
If you don't have the qualifications to apply for an
apprenticeship, you can join KEY Training Service's 'Open Door
Programme'. It caters for all abilities and you will get the chance
to gain key skills qualifications, employability skills and real
work experience for up to 12 weeks, after which time you will be
able to apply for a Kent Success apprenticeship.
How to apply
To apply for either a Kent Success Apprenticeship or the Open
Door Programme, please call KEY Training Services on 0800 7314297
or email
keytrainingservices@kent.gov.uk.
Places on the Kent Success programme are dependent on vacancies
being available in your area, your assessment and your
interview. |
