Gap year programme

If you're a gap year or year-in-industry student looking for an interesting and relevant work placement, we can help.

We have a variety of placements both within the council and with other employers in the county. They are designed to help you make the most of your skills and you'll get practical work experience needed for your degree.

Placements are paid and vary from six to 15 months.

Applying for a placement

Simply complete an application form telling us what subjects you are studying and the sort of placement you would like, and email or post the form to us.
