Children of Men located part of its filming in Chatham Dockyards. The film was directed by Alfonso Cuaron (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban) and stars Julianne Moore, Michael Caine and Clive Owen and looks at a grim future 20 years from now: there are no more children. The youngest citizen of the world has died at the age of 18 and in a world without children, or the possibility of children, there is no hope.

Adapted from P.D James’  novel of the same title, Children of Men looks at the destruction caused by humans. When Kee (Clare-Hope Ashitey ) falls pregnant against all hope, a dormant activist (Owen) is forced to face up to his fears and fight for human survival by protecting mother and child.
