Our strategy for the future of Kent's waste
The Kent Waste Strategy was adopted by the
Kent Waste Partnership in 2007. The partners are the 12
district/borough councils and Kent County Council.
Together we plan and budget for Kent’s waste
so that new facilities can be built where and when they are
needed.
Our aims are:
- Recycling rates going up all over Kent.
- Reducing the amount of waste produced by
each household.
- Vastly reducing how much of Kent's waste is
put into landfill.
