Waste Management Development Plan Document
One of the
key documents of the Minerals and Waste Development Framework is the
Waste Sites Plan.
It will identify sites and locations for waste management
facilities that reflect the principles of the Minerals and
Waste Core Strategy.
The document is likely to:
- identify suitable locations and allocate sites for all types of
waste management development (such as recycling, composting,
processing, treatment, and landfill)
- address all waste streams, including hazardous wastes,
and
- identify specific sites or alternative preferred areas.
