Event descriptions

STEM drop-in surgery

Arrange an appointment with a Sustainable Business Advisor where you can go through Steps to Environmental Management (STEM) scheme or discuss any of your environmental management requirements. The surgery is open between 10am and 1pm and takes place at County Hall, Maidstone.

Eco-driving lessons

The South East Business Carbon Hub is offering our members a FREE ‘smarter’ driving lesson (usual cost £20 plus VAT). The training is fun and focused on showing your drivers techniques to drive more efficiently using less fuel. Lessons take no more than one hour and run between 9am and 5pm.

Webinars

These online workshops can be accessed from your own computer and cover a variety of topics including environmental management, sustainable transport, communicating with staff and adapting to climate change. The webinars run from 10.30am to 11.30am.

Workshops

Interactive workshops provide organisations with the opportunity to meet with like-minded businesses, learn how to be more environmentally friendly and reduce their costs. One free lesson per company is available, which will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.

Members of the South East Business Carbon Hub can access all of the above events for free. For more information on the events or to book onto an event, please contact 01622 696950 or email carbon.hub@kent.gov.uk

You must book onto an event before attending.
