Project ideas and case studies
How low can you go?
Some schools have held a ‘How Low Can You Go?‘ day. The aim of
the day is to use as little energy as possible. All the school
community is encouraged to take part in finding out how much energy
can be saved, and understand more about the everyday actions that
result in carbon emissions.
During previous years, schools with the largest reductions
recorded were:
- Crockham Hill CEP School reduced energy use by 86%.
- Minterne Junior School reduced energy use by 85%.
- Bapchild andTonge Primary School and Shoreham Village School
both saved 78%.
Why not kick start your own energy saving plan by holding your
own ‘How Low Can You Go?’ day.
